FATAL MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT IN MARYLAND

UPDATE – 3/26/2025 – Virginia Motorcyclist Killed In Route 301 Collision; Driver May Face Charges

WALDORF, Md. — A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday evening in a collision at a busy intersection in Waldorf, Maryland.

Emergency crews responded to the crash around 5:10 p.m. on March 25, 2025, at northbound Crain Highway and Holly Lane. When they arrived, they found a motorcycle and another vehicle involved, with the motorcyclist unresponsive at the scene. Medics pronounced the man dead shortly afterward.

His identity is being withheld until his family can be notified.

Another man involved in the crash was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police remain on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Northbound Crain Highway is closed in the area of Holly Lane and Central Avenue, and authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area.
