On Nov. 7, two individuals were helping a friend move belongings from the residence she shared with Kenneth Edward Miller, 44 of Callaway. Miller exited the residence and pointed a handgun directly at all three individuals and instructed them to put the television, they were attempting to remove, back into the residence. One of the victims called 911, deputies responded, interviewed the victims and Miller.
As a result of the investigation Miller was arrested. Search incident to the arrest revealed Miller to be in unlawful possession of prescription medication.
Miller was charged with three counts of first-degree assault and on count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
