Possession of Marijuana: On 7/1/11 at 11:23 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 north of Route 231 in Prince Frederick. An odor of marijuana was detected in the vehicle and a search revealed that the driver, Delonte C. Claggett, 22 of St. Leonard, was in possession of Marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Theft : On 7/4/11 at 3:32 pm, Trooper First Class Landis responded to the 300 block of Sachem Dr. in Lusby for a reported theft of copper wire. A witness observed an individual remove a wire from a nearby utility pole. Aided with the description of the vehicle, TFC Landis was able to locate the vehicle. The copper wire was in the bed of the truck. Gary W. Leslie, 35 of Lusby, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
