The Nanjemoy Community Clean-Up program trash disposal service scheduled for September 24 has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 22. The Nanjemoy Community Clean-Up program was established to promote the health, safety, and welfare of residents in the Nanjemoy area. Through the Community Clean-Up Program, citizens are urged to clean compromised properties.
Those participating in the community cleanup events will be offered free trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and trash disposal. Trash bags, gloves, and safety vests can be obtained by contacting the Charles County Department of Public Works.
Free trash disposal will be available at Nanjemoy Community Center (4375 Port Tobacco Road) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 22.
