MARYLAND – CS-SC26 is a regularly scheduled force protection exercise and is not being conducted in response to any specific threat.
The exercise reinforces a proactive force protection mindset across the Navy, ensuring personnel remain prepared to respond to a wide range of potential scenarios while allowing security forces to sharpen their skills and sustain the highest level of readiness.
While some in-person drills scheduled for today were adjusted due to weather conditions, training continues as planned through virtual execution, allowing teams to meet exercise objectives and maintain operational momentum on Day One.
