Navy Contract – May 21, 2013
BAE Systems, Electronic Systems Division, Wayne, N.J., is being awarded a $7,383,414 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the acquisition of hardware, software, performance enhancements and maintenance of BAE Software Compliant Architecture Common Data Link family of products. Work will be performed in Greenlawn N.Y. (60 percent), and Wayne, N.J. (40 percent), and is expected to complete by May 2018. Fiscal 2013 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funding in the amount of $540,774 will be obligated at time of award. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
