Neil Albert Myers

Neil Albert Myers, Sr. 89, of Bryantown, MD. peacefully passed away on February 6, 2024, surrounded by his family.  Neil was born on November 22, 1934, to the late Cecil Gideon Myers and Lillie Katharine Ellis Myers.

Neil was the proud owner of Myers Texaco and Auto Service beginning in May 1964. In the early 90โ€™s, the business was changed to Myers Shell. Neil and his son Neil Myers, Jr. worked tirelessly to build the business into the success it is today. The business is well known to the community for the quality of their work and exceptional customer service. Neilโ€™s wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family have worked together in the family business over the past 60 years.ย 

Neil married the love of his life, Katherine (Kay) Howard Myers on October 21, 1961. They were blessed with three children, Neil Myers, Jr. (Patti), Lori Myers Sage (Scott), and Carolyn Myers. They all reside on the Myers farm in Bryantown, Md.

Neil had a strong work ethic and took great pleasure in his job. When he wasnโ€™t working, Neil enjoyed entertaining friends, hunting, gardening, playing cards, dancing, and traveling. ย 

Neil is survived by his three children, grandchildren, Brandon Myers (Rebekah), Jacob Myers (Amber), Jordan Myers, Ryan Myers (Jenni), Tyler Sage (April), Garrett Sage (Micheala), and his only granddaughter, Scottie Renee Sage. He had seven great-grandchildren.

Neil was predeceased by his parents, his brother Dave Myers, and sisters Carolyn and Jean Myers. He is survived by his sisters, Margaret Cooke, Rebecca Plastow, Sandra Crowningshield (Frank), and his sister-in-law, Lena Myers (Dave).

The family will receive friends for the visitation on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622

The family will also receive friends at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, followed by a celebration of life service beginning at 11:00 am at Brinsfield Funeral Home. Interment is private.
