Thai 99
Calvert County’s latest Thai spot boasts a dine-in experience with dozens of dishes served year-round. Noodles, soup, and egg rolls are all available, but Thai 99’s menu also features exciting options you may have never tried. Thai 99 serves pineapple fried rice and papaya salad for customers seeking a sweet and savory dish, while the grilled salmon and chicken satay offer traditional flavors for meat lovers. Peri-Peri Original

The Armory Square Project
A new shopping center is under construction in Calvert County and is set to include more than five new eateries. The Armory Square Project is scheduled to open in 2025, with Jersey Mike’s, Quickaway Hibachi, and First Watch among the restaurants planned. Located at the former site of Calvert Middle School, the project will bring more variety to Calvert County’s restaurant scene.

Rare in Maryland, First Watch is a café chain that serves breakfast and lunch. Between French toast and sandwiches, there are many tasty dishes to try at any time of day. For the thirsty, First Watch serves brunch cocktails and even has its own juice bar with an array of healthy options, like the Kale Tonic Fresh Juice.

  1. Why can’t Prince Frederick have a finer dining restaurant? Like a Carrabba’s, Maggiano’s or Good Steak and Seafood- Italian Chop House.
    Also needed is a Target and Belks retail stores. With Aldi’s coming, get rid of Weis and put in a Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe’s.
