
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — As summer temperatures rise, families in St. Mary’s County can look forward to cooling off at the Nicolet Park Splash Pad, which officially reopens this Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Located at 21770 FDR Boulevard, Lexington Park, MD 20653, the splash pad offers over 1,200 square feet of zero-depth water play area, featuring various interactive components such as a rainbow arch, super spray, vertical spray, mini-sphere, spray circle, triple play with buckets, a color disc, and a foot and shower tower. The facility is ADA accessible and uses re-circulated, chemically treated water to ensure safety and cleanliness.
The splash pad will be open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for St. Mary’s County residents and $7 for non-residents, with cash being the only accepted form of payment at the gate. For frequent visitors, season passes are available for purchase online.
Operated by St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks, Nicolet Park provides a refreshing retreat for families seeking to beat the summer heat.
