LEONARDTOWN, Md. — The Town of Leonardtown has announced the end of its First Friday trolley service after three years of operation.
Town officials thanked Patuxent Transportation for providing the popular trolley service, which helped residents and visitors travel around Leonardtown during monthly First Friday events.
According to the announcement, Patuxent Transportation is no longer able to provide the service, and the trolley will no longer operate during First Fridays.
The town said it is already working to identify new transportation alternatives for future events and encouraged the community to stay tuned for updates.
“We are working on some new transportation alternatives! Stay tuned!” the announcement stated.
