NORTH BEACH, Md. — North Beach residents can now get their season passes for 2026.
The passes are available at the welcome center, located at 9023 Bay Ave., from noon to 6 p.m. through the end of this week. Applications are available on-site, and passes are printed on demand. Officials estimate that it should only take about five minutes to fill out an application.
Only residents of the town of North Beach are eligible for free season passes, and residents have to bring their eligibility and application materials in order to get a pass. You’ll need an ID and proof of residency in the town to get your pass.
For property owners, recent wireless or utility bills in the owner’s name qualify as proof of residence. Renters need to bring their application, ID, and a copy of their active lease. Licensed vacation renters need an application, ID, and a recent wireless or utility bill in the owner’s name.
Property owners can get beach passes that are valid for five years, while both types of renters can get passes valid for one year.
In addition, Calvert County residents can apply for season passes using the same eligibility requirements for a fee of $65 per adult, $33 per child or $260 for a family of up to five people. Out-of-county residents may also apply for passes at the fee rate of $150 per adult, $130 per child or $520 per family of up to five people.
Applications are available online or at the welcome center on the boardwalk.
The beach opens May 23.
