Maker’s Market, Ornament Show and Sale, Art Lecture, and Art Classes
Begin or continue your holiday shopping and support homemade, homegrown, and handmade vendors at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (Annmarie Garden) during Maker’s Market on Saturday, November 3, 2012, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. November’s maker’s market will feature wooden wall décor, stained glass, fleece wear for your furry friends, Artisan accessories, fresh produce, Cakes by Amanda, knitted and wool apparel, and original paintings. Admission to Maker’s Market is FREE. Ample, accessible and convenient parking is located in the parking lot and adjacent parking field. Handicap parking is available through the main gate.
Ornament Show and Sale
The Gift Shop at Annmarie Garden presents the 5th Annual Ornament Show & Sale, November 17, 2012 – January 1, 2013! The Ornament Show & Sale is a juried show that features hand-crafted ornaments by 20 regional artists. Annmarie Garden is the perfect place to find unique and affordable gifts for friends and family. The ornaments are beautifully hung on trees displayed in the Main Gallery of the Arts Building. Visitors shop off the trees and take their purchases to the Gift Shop. The show kicks off before Thanksgiving and runs through early January. During Garden in Lights, a glorious outdoor light exhibit, the Ornament show is open late!

Comparative Gallery Talk – November 17, 1:30 – 4:00 pm, Calvert Marine Museum & Annmarie Garden on Saturday, November 17, 2012, 1:30 – 4:00 pm, Pete Lesher, Curator of Exhibits at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, will present a comparative gallery talk regarding Watermen of the Chesapeake, at both the Calvert Marine Museum and Annmarie Garden. Leshner will begin his presentation at the Calvert Marine Museum, discussing the Endangered Species: Chesapeake Watermen photography exhibit, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm. The discussion will resume at Annmarie Garden at 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Marc Castelli: The Art of the Waterman exhibit. Please call Annmarie Garden to register, 410-326-4640; $10.00 fee.
