On April 15 at 10:55 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Hamlin Road in Waldorf for a fight in progress.
As officers approached the group, one subject fled on foot. Officers pursued the male and eventually apprehended him in a nearby wooded area where they recovered a jacket the suspect tossed. A loaded .22 caliber handgun was found inside the jacket.
The suspect, Darrell Clark, 19 of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun. Officer M. Thompson is investigating.
