
UPDATE – Through investigation another suspect in this burglary was identified as Daryl Turner, 18, of Annapolis. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Turner. On 07/09 officers located Daryl Turner in the 1300 block of Tyler Av. Turner was arrested and charged with first and fourth degree burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property. Turner was released by the District Court Commissioner on a $5,000 bond.
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On July 1 at 4 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Tripp Creek Court for the report of a burglary in progress.
Upon the officers arrival several suspects fled the rear of the home and were not located. The rear door to the home had been forced open and items stolen from inside. Through investigation officers were able to identify on of the suspects in this burglary as Sura Sohna, 19, of Annapolis.
Officers located Sohna in 1300-1399 Tyler Av and arrested him. Sohna was charged with first, third, and fourth degree burglary, theft, and malicious destruction of property. He was released on his own recognizance by the District Court Commissioner.
