LEONARDTOWN, Md. – One patient was flown out and three others were transported by ambulance after a serious three vehicle collision in Leonardtown.
On March 5, 2021 at approximately 3:50 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the serious motor vehicle accident in the area of of Fenwick Street and Court House Drive.
Units arrived to find three vehicles involved in the collision. Two additional ambulances was requested to the scene. Multiple subjects were evaluated by EMS.
Three patients were transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. MEDEVAC MSP Aviation has been requested for a forth patient. Trooper 7 have been rerouted to Ryken High School for landing.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office reported the area was shut down due to the traffic collision.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the collision.
