WALDORF, Md. – On March 3, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident in the area of Middletown Road and McDaniel Road.
Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved with multiple occupants injured.
A 30-year-old man experiencing neck pain and a 50-year-old woman with a broken leg was evaluated on the scene by EMS. Due to the severity of her injuries, a MEDEVAC was requested.
Firefighters secured the landing zone on the scene for Maryland State Police, Trooper 2. The woman was airlifted to MedStar Trauma Center. The man was transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
