St. Mary’s County Rescue and Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched to Route 235 at MacArthur Blvd. in Lexington Park at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday for an accident involving two cars with personal injury.
The mishap occurred near San Souci Plaza. The cars involved were moved onto a business parking lot.
According to witnesses only one person had to be transported to the hospital.
