One Transported After Head-On Collision In Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Md – On February 12, 2023 at approximately 9:20 p.m., St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Great Mills Rd.

Crews arrived on scene found two vehicles in the middle of the roadway involved in a head-on collision.

One patient was transported to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital and the second occupant signed refusal of treatment.

    1. Accidents are called an accident for a reason. Luckily, when I go thru an intersection, I always take my foot off of the gas and was only doing about 20mph.

      1. They are collisions. Just because a collision may not be intentional, does not mean it’s an accident. It’s still a collision.

        1. An accidental collision… It was an accident, though, as I’m sure the man who hit me head on didn’t intend to.. so, we collided.
