On Sunday, October 9th Autocrossers Inc. held two events at Regency Furniture Stadium. The first was a group of runs in the morning and the second was a group of runs in the afternoon. This made it a double point day for the racers. The cars there ranged from Miatas to Corvettes. In the middle of the events there was a luncheon for the racers and their crews. ย The event had the largest ever Novice turnout. Twelve drivers registered in the Novice class. The Novice class is only for drivers that have raced in three or less events.
Charles County Commissioner Ken Robinson joined The BayNet as a spectator.ย He walked around talking to drivers and looking at the mechanics of the fast racing vehicles.
