CLEMENTS, Maryland — First responders called a Thursday evening crash on Colton Point Road in Clements “serious.”
The station wagon collided with a truck, resulting in serious damage to both vehicles.
Very little remained of the station wagon. The Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department said one person was briefly trapped inside a vehicle. Fortunately, they were able to get out on their own before help arrived.
Maryland State Police Trooper 7 medevac landed on a nearby lawn.
The MEDEVAC helicopter transported the patient to Baltimore Shock Trauma. Another patient on the scene refused EMS care.
Squad 5, Engine 51, Ambulance 599, 196 and Medic 2 assisted at the scene.
