At 2:40 a.m. June 25, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Walgreens located at 25 High Street in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed the suspect entered the business and walked around checking the aisles for customers. The suspect went to the pharmacy counter, brandished a handgun and demanded drugs.
The Pharmacist complied, giving the suspect Percocet, Oxycontin and Oxycodone. The suspect then fled the scene.
Officers and a K9 unit check the area but were unable to locate the suspect. He is described as a white male, approximately 20 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 150 pounds. He was wearing black pants, ball cap and gloves, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black and white bandana.
