Chesapeake Beach — Vandals did $500 worth of damage to a playground in Chesapeake Beach last week.
On August 28, a Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the Tot Lot playground in Chesapeake Beach for a property damage report.
Playground equipment had been vandalized when an unknown suspect or suspects scratched profanities into it.
Estimated damage to the property is $500.
