At 12:13 a.m. Dec. 11, TFC C. Bowling responded to the M&T Bank in Prince Frederick, MD, for a reported bank alarm.
TFC C. Bowling and Corporal J. S. Bowman arrived at the bank and observed that suspects had damaged the back door and it was partially open.
Unknown suspects attempted to pry the door open, but never gained entrance into the bank. It was also noticed that there was damage to the telephone pole near MD Route 2/4.
After clearing notifying the bank authorities, TFC Bowling and Corporal Bowman cleared the scene.
Shortly after their cleared, a representative from M&T Bank called the State Police and advised that their telephone lines had also been cut by the suspects.
The investigation is continuing at this time.
