
TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Temple Hills.
The deceased pedestrian has been identified as 60-year-old Anthony Wigglesworth of Washington, D.C.
On July 7, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 4700 block of St. Barnabas Road for the collision. The victim died of his injuries a short time later at a hospital.
The preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on St. Barnabas Road while attempting to cross the roadway. The driver remained on the scene and was not injured.
