UPDATE: 64-Year-Old Man Killed After Crash In Charles County
BEL ALTON, Md. – On October 4, 2024, at approximately 12:17 a.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to a serious single motor vehicle accident on Chapel Point Road near Brooks Farm Road. A caller told 911 dispatch that a car had gone into the woods on a sharp turn.
Crews arrived and found a single vehicle overturned off the roadway with one occupant unresponsive. The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victims identity will be released once the next of kin have been notified.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the collision.
