UPDATE: The patient has been transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports of a stabbing which took place in the area of Leesa Court in Lexington Park.
At approximately 9:12 p.m. on April 3, police were dispatched to the area of Leesa Court for reports of someone who had been stabbed in the neck. Police determined the victim to have been male.
Police have secured the scene, allowing EMS the opportunity to enter the address and provide aid.
We do not have any details on the patient’s condition at this time.
