At 6 p.m., on Nov. 27 Officer M. Burrows responded to a residence in the 10700 block of Tayloes Neck Road in Nanjemoy for an armed robbery report.
A 21-year-old Nanjemoy man was standing on the corner of Port Tobacco Road and Tayloes Neck Road when a vehicle stopped at the intersection. A man exited the vehicle, approached him, brandished a handgun and demanded his wallet. The victim complied. The armed man then returned to the vehicle and fled.
Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect or the vehicle.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male with corn-row-styled hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, a black cap and tan Timberland boots. The vehicle is described as a green Isuzu Rodeo with tinted windows.
