Members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack were dispatched to the 7-11 Store in Dunkirk at 1:23 in the morning on Wednesday, Nov. 30, for a reported robbery.
Detective Joe Angle of the CIT division arrived and spoke with the store employee, who stated that two black males entered the store through the front doors and threatened him with a handgun. They then stole various cartons of cigarettes and candy from the front sales counter and fled the area northbound on Md. Route 4 in an older model gray Oldsmobile car.
No customers were in the store at the time and there were no injuries.
