Police Stop Public Transit Vehicle To Nab 4 Juveniles In Arundel Mills Robbery

HANOVER, Md. — Four juveniles have been charged following a robbery near Arundel Mills Mall on Thursday evening, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s at 7053 Arundel Mills Circle around 6:30 p.m. on December 12, 2024, in response to a report of a citizen robbery. Upon arrival, police learned that two juveniles had been approached by a group of four other juveniles who allegedly assaulted them and stole their belongings before fleeing.

A swift response by police led to the identification and apprehension of the suspects. Officers tracked the group to a public transit vehicle. With support from Northern District units, the vehicle was stopped, and the four suspects were detained.

The victims were able to positively identify the individuals involved, leading to their arrests.

The suspects, whose identities are being withheld due to their ages, have been identified as:

  • A 15-year-old female
  • A 13-year-old female
  • A 16-year-old male
  • A 14-year-old male

Anne Arundel County Police have not disclosed the specific charges each individual faces but confirmed that the juveniles were taken into custody.

No details have been released about the condition of the victims or the nature of the stolen belongings. The investigation is ongoing.
