Maryland State Fire Marshal’s are investigating a case of arson in Calvert County.
A fire broke out in the 7900 block of Old Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach at Beach Elementary School in a
Porta-Potty on Jan. 18 around 2:20 p.m.
The fire was discovered by a passerby. Firefighters from North Beach VFD responded to the blaze and were able to bring the fire under control in 10 minutes.
Damage is estimated to be $500. No injuries were reported.
