Attention all middle school students: Join us for an evening of learning how the resources at Calvert Library can strengthen your History Fair research … and have some fun while you learn.
The Power Up Your Project workshop will be held 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19 and repeated on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at the Calvert Library Prince Frederick. To participate, register for one of these dates online at calvert.lib.md.us.
The workshop includes training on using the library’s research databases, finding primary and secondary sources, and locating other materials to aid you in producing your 2010-2011 History Fair project – Debate and Diplomacy in History: successes, failures, consequences.
The program format includes a variety of activities and light refreshment to make the information-packed evening especially enjoyable for tweens.
