At approximately 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, the Prince Frederick and Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squads had a report of an auto accident on Route 231 and Skip Jack Road in Prince Frederick.

The call was put out for an overturned vehicle. As first responders arrived on the scene from Prince Frederick and Chief 6 of Huntingtown, Chief 6 held the Prince Frederick units and placed the other units in service.

Two ambulances from Prince Frederick transported patients to Calvert Memorial Hospital. The crash victims managed to free themselves from their vehicles. Once treated, the victims were transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital without life threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by police.
