Largo, MD – Prince George’s County was recognized for its commitment to clean and sustainable energy by the Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition.
The county’s Office of Central Services (OCS) Fleet and Sustainable Energy Divisions received a 2019 Achievement Award for having one of the highest performing fleets in the region. The award is a result of the county’s exemplary transportation initiatives on their website.
GWRCC is an organization dedicated to promoting the use of clean, American transportation fuels for homeland security and improved air quality.
“This award shows that Prince George’s County is a leader in our region on transportation and clean energy,” said Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. “We will continue investing in innovative transportation solutions that provide high-quality services to our residents while reducing emissions and improving air quality.”
