Onย Jan. 5ย troopers from the Prince Frederick Barrack and Calvert County Sheriffโs Office Deputies responded to Pilot Way, Lusby for a reported prowler.ย While investigating the prowler report the responding units went to on 340 Oak Dr., Lusby Calvert County Maryland.ย ย Upon approaching the front door officers detected an odor of burnt marijuana.ย They secured the residence and waited for a search warrant.
The Calvert Investigative Team was called in to assist with the investigation.ย During the execution of the search warrant 19 marijuana plants growing under fluorescents lights, 2 dried plants, numerous smoking devices and other marijuana paraphernalia was found inside the residence.ย The owner of the residence, Kristen Gehrand, 43 year-old female from Lusby, came home prior to the search warrantโs execution.ย Gehrand was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing CDS.ย Gehrand was released on $5000 unsecured bond.
