PIKESVILLE, Md. – The kickoff of America’s unofficial holiday is just days away.  No matter which team you want to see win or which commercials you’re eager to watch, when it’s time for the Super Bowl everyone is a fan.  We want to remind you, the best defense is a Designated Driver.

Have a game plan for Sunday night so everyone knows who the designated driver is.  Drunk driving can result in serious crashes, injuries or death.  If you don’t have a designated driver to make sure friends get home safely, use a taxi or other ride-share options.

If you see someone who appears to be driving impaired, call 9-1-1.  Additional troopers from the North East barrack will be on DUI enforcement patrols in Cecil County throughout the Super Bowl weekend.

This upcoming Super Bowl weekend, be a team player.  Keep impaired drivers from getting behind the wheel, designate a sober driver before the game.
