What would happen if the United States shut down for a day? When I say shut down I mean, no electric, no working, no driving, no spending money whatsoever.
Can anyone tell me what type of impact this would have on the United States? Would a GAS OUT help? Would it help to lower gas prices? How about no electric for a day, or no one go work for a day!
What is it going to take to get things back to normal and get back to everyday life without people worrying about how they are going to live from day to day. The American people need to take a stand and try to make some changes.
What would happen if everyone who received that check from the government didn’t run out and spend it like they EXPECT. I don’t know about you, but I plan to hold on to mine for hard time’s, if I am not already in dire straits by June or July.
I will purposely hold on to that check. I cannot afford to blow that money on BS. So what are you doing to help cut cost for your family and what Ideas can you share with other’s so that we can all benefit form these hard times?
Just to try to lower our electric bill our family now hangs the clothes outside on the old forgotten clothes line. We stopped using the dishwasher and went back to the hand washed dishes. I have removed all the extra light bulbs that are required in those multiply socket’s and I am almost to the point where I am ready to utilize our outside grill more often as well.
Back in the old days a resourceful stay at home mom would have potatoes and beans and they raised their own chickens. And only on Sundays were they able to splurge on a beef roast.
Will our society adopt the days of our parents and learn to become more aware of our spending habits? I have yet to figure out a way to cut cost on gas simply because I work 2 jobs.
So as I stand there pumping gas and paying almost 50.00 to fill up a 13 to 14 gallon tank I grieve terribly wondering how much more it will go up. My second job soon won’t even pay to put gas in my vehicle. When that happens then I will be forced to tap into my money I allocate for bills and bills only.
And most everyone I work with lives in the opposite direction or our work time is different. I have never lived through a depression like my grandparents and parents did and I personally don’t even want to think of something like this happening to us.
People of America need to wake up and we need to start making some changes or things are going to get worse then they are right now. And if we can get things rolling right here in MD first then maybe the rest will follow suit.
I believe if we all work together it can be done. I don’t expect an overnight miracle but if we start a movement now then maybe we can make some positive changes for everyone.
