Regency Stadium to host Guitars & Stripes Fest May 24

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are kicking off their summer season with the Guitars & Stripes Country Fest Saturday, May 24. 

The Blue Crabs will welcome four chart-topping artists that burst recently onto the country music scene.

The Guitars & Stripes Country Fest will be hosted by Regency Furniture Stadium at 11765 St. Linus Drive in Waldorf.

Gates open at 3 p.m. The show is expected to conclude at approximately 10:30 p.m. This event is open to the general public.

Frankie Ballard, winner of Kenny Chesney’s 2008 Next Big Star Competition will take the stage, along with Nashville EMI Records artist Eric Paslay, a country chart topper; Josh Thompson, “Beer on the Table” songwriter, and co-author for a John Michael Carroll album; and special guest, Southern Maryland’s own “The Sam Grow Band.”
