Leonardtown, MD – On Feb.25, Det./Cpl. William Raddatz of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, Sex Offender Compliance Unit, initiated an address verification check at the listed residence of Michael R. Anthony (pictured).
A check of the residence revealed Anthony had not been at the residence since February 23, 2015.
Subsequent checks of the residence revealed Anthony was not living at the address he provided and had not notified the registry of his current residence.
On March 4, Michael R. Anthony, 48, of no fixed address was arrested by Raddatz and charged with failing to provide notice as required by law to the registry.
Anthony was transported to the Detention Center for processing and an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
