At 5:30 a.m. April 23, police responded to Elegant Court in Lexington Park for the reported home invasion.
The two occupants of the home report two black males, wearing dark clothing, broke into their home through a rear door.
Once inside the male occupant confronted the intruders and a struggle ensued. The suspects then fled.
There were no serious injuries reported.
St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations detectives are currently investigating the incident.
