On April 3, at 12:53 a.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle southbound Route 2 at the Thomas Johnson Bridge for failing to have headlights turned on.
The driver, Carrie N. Underwood, 28 of Lusby, was driving while revoked. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located inside her purse. A passenger, Mark A. Miles, Jr., 30 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of pills that he did not have a prescription for.
Underwood was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Miles was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS-Not Marijuana.
Both were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
