Alain Quijano dazzled over eight strong innings as the York Revolution won their second straight game over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs by the final score of 8-1. The loss drops the Blue Crabs to 9-22 away from home in 2014.

Quijano (6-4) had his second straight quality start against the Blue Crabs and notched his first win since June 11. He yielded just a run on seven hits while striking out three batters. Brian Grening (0-3) remained winless in a Crabs uniform lasting just 4.1 innings while allowing all eight runs.

York put up two runs in the 1st inning for the second consecutive night. With two outs, Chad Tracy crushed a two-run home run, his seventh of the year, to start the offensive onslaught for the Revolution. Tracy drove in his third run of the night in the 3rd inning with an RBI single to make it 3-0.

The big inning for the Revolution was the 5th when they added five runs while sending ten batters to the plate. Eric Patterson doubled home a run and Tracy followed with his fourth run batted in with an RBI single. Ofilio Castro and Sean Smith had run-scoring singles later in the frame and Alberto Espinosa capped off the five-run inning with an RBI fielderโs choice.

Amadeo Zazueta broke up the shutout in the top of the 8th inning with an RBI single, the only run Southern Maryland scored on the night.
