Second Degree Assault
On April 13, 2011 deputies responded to Fox Chase Drive in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of an assault in progress. Investigation revealed Marcus DeVon Shorter, 23 of Ridge, Maryland was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Shorter punched the victim in the face. Shorter was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
