On January 23, 2026, Robert “Bob” William Bradford, Sr., peacefully passed away, surrounded by his beloved family. Bob was born in Topeka, Kansas, to the late Kenneth and Beulah Bradford.

For several years, Bob honorably served in the United States Army, earning multiple medals during his military career. Additionally, he spent four years in the Marines.

After completing his military service, he took on the role of a military police officer at Fort Meade. Bob was actively involved with the American Legion, contributing to Post 238 and Post 82 in La Plata, MD. He also served with the Montgomery County Police for a period of five years.

Bob had a love for motorcycles and anything military.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stephen Bradford, and his grandson, John Bradford. He is survived by his two sons: Robert “Rob” Bradford (Rebecca) from Mechanicsville, MD, and Scott Bradford from Beckley, WV. Additionally, he leaves behind his siblings, Kenneth Bradford (Pam), and Clara Stark, along with seven grandchildren: Olivia Powell, Gloria Bradford, Holland Bradford, Jillian Bradford, William Bradford, and Miriam Bradford.

On Friday, February 13, 2026, the family will receive friends for the visitation from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm, with the service beginning at 4:00 pm at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
