On Oct. 19, at 11:42 p.m., a Charles County Sheriff’s officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 210 at Strauss Avenue in Indian Head after observing a traffic violation.
Upon approaching the car, the officer observed several containers of open alcohol. The officer also saw marijuana and drug paraphernalia including a digital scale and plastic baggies in plain view.
The driver, Franklin Bryant, 20 of Indian Head, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute.
Sgt. J.M. Stoddard made the arrest.
