SOUTHERN MARYLAND – Due to ongoing weather conditions from the snowstorm, all school systems in Southern Maryland will remain closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Students, staff, and families are urged to stay safe and monitor updates from local authorities regarding weather conditions and road safety.
Charles County public schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025. There is a Code Red for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) staff who follow the code system. When schools are closed, there are no after-school or evening activities.
Calvert County Public Schools is closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. All after school and evening activities scheduled for Tuesday, January 7 are canceled. Code Red for employees.
St. Mary’s County Public Schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, with a Code 3 for employees.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 7. There will be no instruction for students. A Code Red is in effect for employees. Unit III personnel must report to their work locations as required and will receive additional information.
Prince George’s County Public Schools and offices will be closed Tuesday, January 7, due to inclement weather. Code Yellow: Only emergency personnel must report to work.
