On April 16, at 12:35 a.m., Police Units responded to the Burger King Restaurant on Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall,  for the report of an Armed Robbery.

Investigation by Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations revealed two African American males entered the restaurant as an employee was exiting the rear door, produced a handgun and directed the employee back inside where the suspects confronted the manager.  The suspects then obtained an undetermined amount of cash, directed the employees to a storage area and fled the store in an unknown direction. 

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect # 1  is described as a black male, 20-25 years of a age; 5-7″ to 5-9″; with a medium complexion; dark colored semi-automatic handgun; black windbreaker jacket; light colored knit cap (turned inside / out); bandanna around face (red / green / yellow pattern); sunglasses.

Suspect # 2  is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5-7” to 5-9”, light complexion, silver semi-automatic handgun, black jacket, black skull cap, black face mask; sunglasses

Employees Forced into Freezer During Armed Robbery

St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery at the Burger King in Charlotte Hall located at 30026 Three Notch Road.

The call came out at 12:37 a.m. for the report of a robbery. Police arrived on the scene moments later to discover three employees at the Burger King had been robbed by two black males in all black, wearing black hoodies with bandannas over their faces and glasses on.  Both men armed with guns forced the employees into a walk-in freezer in the back of the restaurant.

The suspects fled out the back of the building in an unknown direction of travel. K-9’s were on the scene searching for a track. As of 1 a.m. no further details were available.
