CALIFORNIA, Md. – On September 20, 2024, at 2:18 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of St. Andrews Church Road and Indian Bridge Road for a serious motor vehicle accident.
Crews arrived to find multiple vehicles in the roadway with one vehicle on its side and one occupant trapped. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and extricated the trapped occupant.
EMS evaluated one patient on the scene and transported them to UM Capital Regional Medical Center by ground for further care.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Use caution and expect delays in the area.

I wonder why I’m concerned about driving around here. There are too many accidents where the innocent careful driver doesn’t have any chance of avoiding being involved in a crash caused by others.
