1:23 p.m. Oct. 21, emergency responders including Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries in front of the Burchmart in Leonardtown.

Leonardtown’s Squad 1 responded and arrived on the scene three minutes later and found a two vehicle accident with numerous signs and poles down, Lieutenant J.A. Nelson reports.

One person was injured and transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, while other signed refusals for treatment. The scene was cleared within 20 minutes.
