OXON HILL, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man and wounded another man in Oxon Hill. The victim of the fatal shooting is 28-year-old Rodney Snowden of Goodluck Road in Greenbelt.

On May 20th, at approximately 7:25 pm, patrol officers responded to the 5600 block of Saint Barnabas Road for the report of a shooting. Snowden was discovered outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He died later at a hospital. The second victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
