The Tenth Annual Silent Angel Memorial was held on November 27, 2011, at the Bay District Fire Hall in Lexington Park, Maryland.ย ย Approximately one hundred-twenty five (125) friends, family and supporters of the โ€œSilent Angelsโ€ were in attendance to remember the lives of those lost their lives at the hands of another. ย 

To honor the tenth anniversary, family and friends were asked to participate in developing a remembrance video about their Silent Angel and what the Silent Angel Ceremony has meant to them. ย The experience of developing the video and remembering their loved ones was well received by everyone and especially beneficial to those who participated. ย 

This yearโ€™s Silent Angel Special Guest Speaker was William Kellibrew of the William Kellibrew Foundation (http://williamkellibrewfoundation.roundtablelive.org/). William is an international advocate for peace and survivor of child abuse, domestic violence and family homicide. ย William Kellibrew was abused as a child. ย At ten years old, William witnessed his mother and older brother being murdered by his motherโ€™s estranged boyfriend. Williamโ€™s was held at gunpoint by the killer. ย William pled with the killer for his life and was eventually spared when the killer committed suicide. ย In 2008 William was invited to tell his story of โ€œtraged
